The
trackplan was inspired by the Kleinbahn AG
Rennsteig-Frauenwald, the remainder
of the station is typical of the Hesse region 40kms north east of
Frankfurt am Main. Kibri kindly provide a very nice model of the station
building at Reichelsheim 61203 (Wetterau), it is a type of building, that was
used at many stations in former 'Grossherzogtum Hessen' branchlines. The line is
still in use and today is operated by the BLE (Butzbach-Licher Eisenbahn) on
behalf of the DB however freight traffic no longer exists.
We intend to run all the stock as used by the real railway and set two
operating periods-1963 and 1973 (eight years after closure) as the latter
will allow us to run a different set of stock.
